Jackie Wyckoff Appointed to IBPSIA Board of Directors

ARLINGTON, Texas – The International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructors Association has appointed Jackie Wyckoff, Campbell, Calif., to the IBPBIA Board of Directors to fill a one year term left by a vacancy on the board.

Wyckoff, a USBC Bronze Coach, has worked in the bowling business since the early 1970’s.  During the late 1980’s, while working as general manager at Bel Mateo Bowl, San Mateo, Calif., she began her Pro Shop career, running the shop, drilling bowling equipment and providing coaching for the center’s mid-Peninsula clients.

“I am excited for the future of the organization with Jackie accepting the BOD position”, said David Bolt, IBPSIA President. “I think she brings exactly what we need to the table with experience in pro shops, coaching and media relations.”

With her background in the bowling business as well as marketing and public relations skills, Wyckoff believes she can bring value to the IBPSIA Board. “I would like to see how we might better educate the bowlers as well as our industry partners on the importance of professional, certified pro shops and ball technicians”, said Wyckoff.

Wyckoff, one of the first females to be certified as a Brunswick “B” mechanic, is a “HOTS” graduate and looking forward to taking the Master Class in June in Las Vegas. She is a member of the Peninsula USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance, holds nine national titles, three regional titles and five local titles.

A past president and current Operations Manager for the International Bowling Media Association (IBMA), former WIBC local association president, AJBC Youth Bowling Council, City of Campbell Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and California Bowling Writers charter secretary, Wyckoff brings nearly five decades of board experience to IBPSIA.
